KQK Willie B and Tom Kent - What Is the World Coming to?
I was born in Memphis, i miss Libertyland so much, i can remember going at night after a concert at the Mid South Coliseum. Just great memories. It's so sad to see it like that.😢
It's a disc golf course now...
The voice of my youth!!!!!!
Top 3 singer with Steve Perry and Brad Delp of Boston.
Still loving Jimi Jamison's voice in 2023. Nice interview. So great to hear his stories. Thanks for sharing.
The thing at the end about I Can’t Hold Back is hilarious. Kevin Cronin laughing off to the side is just icing on the cake 😂 I’d love to hear his input on it.
Who is Kevin Cronin?

NOT an easy tune...He was incredible. Bickler was great too.
eye of the tiger, every since the wrld began, and the search is over are very tough to sing
Love it! I miss him!❤
I started crying when Jimi started singing...
Bwahahahahaha aaaaaaaaahhh
The great one r.i.p.
What a duo
So sad to see it in this condition
Just a great guy, y cantante de lo mejor de mi juventud!
Cool story
these guys are getting old like I should talk hehe
One of my favorite childhood hangout spots. Just gone.
You listen to the difference in broadcasters all these guys are loud and obnoxious George kline is professional
Jimmy really gave all had to this world with such an honest approach. I guess that's what really hits all my check marks for a world class act. What gift to humanity he was and still is.
Jimi had such a great voice... my God what a gift !!!!
One my favorite spots as a teen
the most under rated vocalist, EVER, every thing i see about Jimi makes me heart break, he should still be here,
Me too, everything i see about him break my heart 💔😢
I never get tired of hearing Jimi tell stories. What a real, humble, kind gentle man. So missed. 💔
Bill Bannister, what is the name of the country song and the singer in this video ?
He’s a true tenor through and through. Fantastic voice and hard to believe he is gone.

Nice guy
I love Tom Kent on 106.9 Fargo ND, he loves his job and it makes me love listening to him
F*ck it’s so hard that early in the morning !! Love Jimi’s voice !!! RIP
Blue Moon 0f Kentucky......................
There is a Jimi-Dave version of Eye of the Tiger? We HAVE to find this!
It's great.
This man is fool, yenny??? He's Crazy of true...
yeah.....what he said.....
@@HCBukko, Yes, yes, believe me that out of respect for the artist I would never have mentioned that incident if I had misheard his name, it was also stupid as if his last name "Jamison" was unknown. But Jimi as always was a "Gentleman" said nothing and just smiled. That was always my sweet angel... I send you a big hug from Bogotá Colombia 🇪🇨🤗🇪🇨💯💯👋
@@m.a.marquez7640 I have no idea what you're talking about. Type it in Spanish and I translate with google
@@HCBukko Ahhh perdona!!! 🤭Estoy igual que el tipo que confundió el nombre de Jimi por Jenny... 😊😅😅😅😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

In every interview I have seen with Jimi he has been so down-to-earth and funny. Lots of funny stories. I would SOOOO loved to have had the opportunity to meet and talk with him and listen to all these stories.
Me too! I hope to see him in Heaven!
It really is sad , I have a lot of memories there like a lot of memphians. It’s all gone now
I loved this place, along with Opryland, Mud Island, Adventure River (though I only went once), and a little place called Lollipop Park, which was just a whimsical little playground. I doubt any of those things even exist anymore. I'm actually glad I left Memphis in the late 80's, though I was devastated to leave. My amusement parks are gone, my malls are gone, and even the Memphis airport is dying. You really can't ever go home again.
JMI JAMISON TE AMO SIEMPRE SERAS MI UNICO AMOR 💔
R.I.P DEAR George.
Love his voice!!!
Wow. I can't imagine how hard that is to sing, no matter what time of day, especially that early in the morning. What a talent. You are missed Jimi.
Yes, Jimi is the best.
Jamie is just gorgeous <3
Good stuff! Glad Jimi and Dave got to work together. Man, wish he could have left that meth alone.
Fired 3 times was that the reason he went solo with his own albums
Who did meth? Jimi?
Jimi did not do meth. That's BS
At the end black violence made metal detectors a must and even then it wasn't that safe a place. The truth hurts but that is true. It closed because of the tough crowd.
Black violence destroyed most old amusement parks across America !
Memphis people suffer from Cranio-rectal inversion. That is, to say, they've got their head up their ass just as far as it will go. See Also. Faecal Encephalopathy - Shit for brains. People in Memphis have Shit for Brains.
I love this. Jimi was so humble and real. With his talent and good looks he could have been such a jerk. But he was so sweet and had a Heart of Gold. I still miss Jimi...every single day.
you could start doing a radio show you have a nice voice to be on air
Is that Steve Conley? Been a long, long time.
rip 👑KING OF POP👑
Libertyland was Memphis's Disneyland. It gave children a fun place to go. In such a sad city for everyone really, Libertyland was a break from the sadness. Decisions made by a few have taken joy from the children of this city. And what they replaced Libertyland with is selfish.
